Improving road safety on Foresters Drive

Following accidents on Foresters Drive, the Council has taken measures to slow down traffic and make the road safer for pedestrians.
Two crossing points have been installed at the southern end of Foresters Drive, providing a safe crossing for residents going to and from Roundshaw Downs.
New ‘Slow Down’ signs have also been placed on the southern end of Foresters Drive, including one to slow drivers turning right from Foresters Drive into Plough Lane.
South Beddington & Roundshaw Councillor Ed Joyce said:
“These changes have been made at the request of residents to counter the clear issue of speeding on Foresters Drive.”
