Wrythe Green pedestrian safety improved

New ‘raised table’ crossings have been installed around Wrythe Green and its shops, making it safer and easier for pedestrians to cross.
A raised table crossing is a flat, ramped section of road that's level with the pavement, helping to slow down traffic and give pedestrians priority.
Cllr Colin Stears, said:
“These improvements are great for the area, especially for families and older residents.
“We’re pleased the council has listened to the community and taken action to improve safety.
“It helps us make the most of our great green spaces and shops.”
