Wallington planning updates

There have been important developments on two local planning issues, with a major housing application submitted for Wallington Nurseries and action being taken against the unauthorised car wash on Stafford Road.

A major planning application for more than 100 homes at Wallington Nurseries has now been submitted to Sutton Council. The proposal has generated significant interest among local residents, with a number of concerns raised. Residents can submit their comments via the Sutton planning portal using reference DM2026/00448.

Meanwhile, planning permission has been refused for the pop-up car wash on Stafford Road, and enforcement action is under way. This follows ongoing work by your local Lib Dem team, who have been speaking to affected residents and businesses.
