Supporting our community

28 Jul 2023

Sutton is renowned for its strong sense of community and our ward is a shining example of residents working together to create a vibrant community.

Lib Dem-run Sutton Council has supported local schemes despite severe cuts by the Conservative Government.

Sutton South Hello, a community group for older people, has had several grants to provide a comfortable meeting place for its members.

The Council has also provided funding to plant more trees and promoted schemes such as the Flats Recycling Grant Fund, which supports projects to reduce residual waste and improve recycling.
