New Wallington councillor hits the ground running
Aaron Goater joined Barry Lewis and Sunita Gordon as one of Wallington North's Liberal Democrat councillors in May and has already hit the ground running.
Since being elected, he’s resolved resident’s issues with blocked drains, bin collections, playground equipment, litter and fly-tipping. and speaking to residents at the team’s ward surgery in Holy Trinity Church and on the Wallington High Street stall.
Aaron has been out and about, helping at local events and visiting schools and community centres. This is alongside scrutinising new housing and environment policy on the Council’s policy committees.
Aaron said: "I'm excited and grateful to be able to serve residents. I’ve loved meeting so many of the people who make Wallington a great place to live.
“I'd also like to recognise the immense contribution of former councillor Marian James.”
