Music festival takes centre stage in Wallington

The Wallington Music Festival took place again this summer in the library gardens.

This free event takes place thanks to a small but dedicated organising team made up of local residents, community representatives and your ward councillors. 
Local businesses provide very welcome sponsorship and we receive grant funding from the council.

The Wallington South councillor team helped organise the festival and also helped on the day, with Sam and Jayne running the kid’s activity stall, and Muhammad opening the festival in his role as Mayor of Sutton. 

The team also ensured that the library gardens pond was drained and refilled in time for the event.
