Improving access to disabled bay

New signage is being installed in a disabled parking bay after concerns were raised that it was regularly being occupied by vehicles without the appropriate entitlement.

Tom Foster took up the issue with council officers and secured changes to the signage to make the bay's purpose clearer and improve access for disabled people.

Tom Foster said, “After working with officers and making the case on residents’ behalf, the parking bay is being changed to better reflect the needs of the community.

“I'm pleased we've been able to secure a practical solution that will make a real difference for disabled residents.”
