Funding to resurface The Newlands secured

Lib Dem Councillor for South Beddington and Roundshaw, Ed Joyce, is pleased to see funding secured to replace the tarmac on The Newlands.
The road surface has been badly damaged over many years and it has been decided that it will be more effective to resurface the road than to repair the potholes on an ongoing basis.
As a result, Lib Dem-run Sutton Council has confirmed that funding has been allocated for the resurfacing of the road.
Councillor Ed Joyce said:
“I am very pleased to see funding gained for the repair of the road surface in The Newlands, which carries a lot of traffic and will greatly benefit from resurfacing.”
