What does an MP do over summer recess?

Parliament has been in summer recess, which means less time in Westminster and more time out and about in Carshalton and Wallington, speaking with people and listening to your views.
It’s been a busy few weeks, and I wanted to share a quick look at some of what I’ve been up to:

When parliament returns, I'll be be taking on a new role as the Liberal Democrat Leader of the House of Commons, while continuing my work in the whips team.
No, this doesn’t mean Ed is handing over the baton to me, but it gives me the chance to ensure the right issues are addressed in Westminster.
I'm looking forward to getting started.
