Community Round-Up: St Helier Hospital visit

28 Mar 2022

Bobby Dean, the Lib Dem candidate hoping to be Carshalton & Wallington’s next MP, has been busy visiting local schools, hospitals and community events.

Bobby was given a tour of St Helier Hospital by the leadership team of the Trust. He saw first-hand the great work NHS staff have been doing as well as the poor condition of the estate and the improvements required.

Keeping in touch with education, Bobby attended a local exhibition on improvements proposed for Greenshaw School and hosted a stand at Carshalton Boys careers fair.

Celebrating our diverse and welcoming community, Bobby joined local Ukrainian refugees at an event to mark the one year anniversary of the war with Russia and also attended the grand re-opening of the The Baitul Futuh Mosque in Morden.

He also attended a careers fair for those with Care Experience at The Quad and the first “Wallington Wellbeing” event in Roundshaw.

Finally, this last quarter saw some personal milestones for Bobby - he got married in January and won the local cup with Carshalton FC in March!
