Community encouraged to help decide local project funding

The applications for the Neighbourhood Fund 2026 are now under way. This is the primary way in which residents can apply for funding to improve their area.

The fund uses money from local development to support projects that improve our area.

Previous successful bids have helped restore the old bakehouse in Oaks Park, replace ageing roofs at the Diamond Riding Centre and improve toilets at Hillcrest Halls.

Your local councillors are now working with residents on a bid to improve pedestrian access to Oaks Park, including the path linking it to Metcalfe Avenue.

Cllr Lisa Webster said, “The fund is a great way for residents to help improve our area. We hope residents will join us to discuss eligible projects at the Carshalton & Clockhouse committee meeting on 8th September. If you’ve got an idea for a future project, please get in touch.”
