Celebrating local youth charity at event

Local youth charity People Arise Now brought the community together for another successful day of football and fun at Carshalton Boys School on 20 June.

New Lib Dem councillors Rukhsar and Ian attended the event, which brings together teams from across the area including the local police, youth groups and charities. Bobby Dean MP also joined in on the pitch.

The councillors also spoke to residents who have been supported by People Arise Now, an organisation that empowers young people to have a stronger voice in the community.

Cllrs Rukhsar and Ian said: "It was a fantastic event and a great opportunity to celebrate the work People Arise Now does for our community.”
