Bobby Dean MP launches local health survey
Millions of people are stuck on NHS waiting lists; my dad is one of them.
He has been waiting for a hip operation for nearly two years. A proud scaffolder all his life, he’s now out of work and struggling with a pain that makes simple everyday tasks difficult.
My dad is just one of many people across our community who have been let down by the failures of the previous Conservative Government on the NHS. It is still too hard for people to access the healthcare need when they need it.
When I was elected last year, I promised that I would make sorting out our broken healthcare system my top priority.
Since then I have been working hard every day to deliver on that promise, whether it’s been fighting for St Helier, working to cut GP waiting times or standing up for our community pharmacies.
