Arts and culture blooming across Carshalton Central

This summer has seen arts and culture take centre stage in Carshalton with two local arts events running in Carshalton in June and July.

Carshalton Artists Open Studios returned for their annual event showcasing local artists for their 10th year. Meanwhile the Carshalton Festival returned, featuring artists, music and more, enabled through grant funding from Sutton Council. 

Arts spokesperson Cllr Andrew Jenner said “The Arts enrich us all. And by placing culture at the heart of our manifesto we look forward to promoting our talented and generous creative community. We want to make sure that everyone has the opportunity to enjoy all that our local arts scene has to offer.”
