Action on crime as shoplifters caught in local operation

A recent police operation, in collaboration with the local Co-op in Roundshaw, successfully led to the arrest of several shoplifters.

The local Liberal Democrat team has been working closely with the police in response to growing frustration over slow or inadequate responses to reported crime.

Local Lib Dem Councillor Ed Joyce said:
“Sadly, this kind of crime is all too common. We’re continuing to work with the police to make sure more attention is given to residents’ priorities, including tackling shoplifting, burglaries, and car theft.”
