Action on anti-social car processions

Police are taking action to address noisy, night time car processions and racing along Middleton Road.

Local Liberal Democrat councillors raised the issue with police after residents reported being repeatedly woken by long car parades and dangerous driving.

Councillor Paul Cole explains, “we are working alongside police to identify those responsible so action can be taken against anti-social behaviour. Residents are being encouraged to continue reporting incidents to the police, as additional information can help officers identify those responsible.”
