Originally from Hong Kong, Richard moved to Sutton in 2008 for work—and never left. He and his wife are raising their three children here, committed to the community they call home.
Described by The Times as “a British-Hong Kong success story", Richard has won 22 design awards and holds 26 patents.
He spent over a decade as an industrial design specialist at Nokia Mobile and is now also an entrepreneur developing award-winning consumer products.
A community leader in Sutton, Richard is passionate about giving back. He has been a governor at Sutton College and a member of the Safer Neighbourhoods Board.
