June Ward Walk

On Wednesday 29th June we managed to fit in our ward walk around Sutton West and East Cheam. Again on my trusty Cargo Bike, hitting every road in the ward to take a first hand look over the whole of the ward and make sure there were no new public realm issues to be aware of.

This month the ward was generally looking pretty clean and tidy, a couple of flytip reports and a couple of spots to follow-up on for litter picking, some highlights listed below.

Some tree issues first: Large stump that needs resolving on Cheam Road, dead tree needs to be dealt with on Crown Road, and new street trees on Fairholme Road and Elmbrook Road, will report direct to tree officers.

Now for some flytipping: NOx canisters dumped on St Dunstan's Hill: LBS-FLYTIP433891482, Flytip at the corner of Sydney Road and St James Road: LBS-FLYTIP433604907, Sunningdale Road Litter problem: I came back on Monday morning and picked up as much of the litter as I could manage as this patch appears to be private land, but will investigate on that count.
