Muhammad lives locally with his family. He has been very active in the local community for many years, most recently as a Wallington South Councillor. He served as Mayor of Sutton in 2015/2016 and is currently Vice Chair of the Planning Committee and a local school governor. He is also the Treasurer of a local cultural welfare association.

Jayne, a chartered accountant, has lived in Wallington for 20 years, with her three boys all attending local schools. She has served as a local Councillor for the past 12 years, working to address local issues and improve the area. She is proud to have seen the community all working together to make the Wallington Music Festival and Festive Light celebrations popular and established events.

Steve was a film industry professional, running his own studio employing more than 50 people. He was Chairman of Onslow Gardens Residents Association, a community representative on the Local Committee and a founder member of Arts Network Sutton. Steve was elected a local Councillor in 2015 and served as Deputy Mayor in 2016/17.

Priorities

  1. Fight to stop inappropriate and back garden development.
  2. Keep Wallington tidy by tackling litter and dog fouling.
  3. Work with the local police team to keep crime low.
  4. Fight to protect St Helier Hospital and secure the funding it needs.
