Statement on the sad death of Cllr Adrian Davey

I am very sorry to have to tell you that Adrian Davey, Liberal Democrat Councillor for Stonecot ward since 2010, has passed away. Following a long illness, he spent his final few days in St Raphael's Hospice and died there peacefully on Friday 24 November. Our condolences go to his wife and family.

Adrian was proud to be a Liberal Democrat councillor in Sutton - and rightly so. He cared passionately about his ward and the people living there - just as he cared passionately about mental health and improving lives for some of the most vulnerable people in our community.

He will be sadly missed and forever in our hearts.
