New path for Cheam Park

Cheam Councillor Mary Burstow is pleased that the work to the new path across Cheam Park, linking Cheam Park Pavilion to Nonsuch Park, is almost finished.

Mary had identified a pot of funding, which she successfully applied for, which paid for the path.

Mary said: "The new path means people can walk a circuit, taking in both Cheam Park and Cheam Recreation Ground, walking past the newly planted trees and enjoying the views of London."

As Cheam's local Councillor, Mary has successfully looked for sources of funding to create paths across Cheam Park, making the Park more accessible not only for people walking but also for children in buggies, cyclists and older people.

Just some of the ways that Mary and the Lib Dems are working to keep Cheam a great place to live, work and raise a family.
